Fred Bauer and his family of five takes a bicyle ride across America. They start in New York and hope to end in Oregon. Hillsboro is a town in Oregon, thus the name. They don’t make it all the way but have lots of adventures on the way.
It was interesting to learn that Fred Bauer once worked for Guideposts and was a roving editor at this writing.
