This book is the true story of how God sent David Wilkerson to New York to work with the gangs. The work eventually evolved into Teen Challenge and spread around the world. It is exciting reading. In fact, most books by John and Elizabeth Sherrill are exciting reading. They are a couple of my favorite authors. David Wilkerson is the story teller and they are the authors. David Wilkerson is no longer with us as he was killed in an auto accident a few years ago.
